Thank you for considering to adopt from The Cat Corner, a nonprofit, no-kill shelter that has been saving the lives of stray and homeless cats in Hampton Roads, Virginia for over three decades!
Ranger and his brother Dallas were being taken care of by a kind lady but she couldn't take them in and they were threatened with capture and an uncertain future. Ranger is now at the Cat Corner and is trying very hard to adjust to his new surroundings. When he arrived at the shelter, he was friendly and liked attention. Now, he is a little afraid and doesn't like anyone getting too close. We are working hard to get him used to being with us and feel sure that before long, he will be as friendly as he was before and will end up making someone a wonderful kitty friend.
Ranger's brother, Dallas (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
When you adopt a cat, keep in mind that you'll be making a commitment that will last the lifetime of the cat - perhaps 10, 15, or 20 years.
When coming to adopt a cat or kitten, please be sure to give you and your family enough time to get to know the pet you are interested in adopting.
Please take the time to review the information on our Adopt page. If you cannot find the answer to your questions or if you have a question about one of our cats or kittens, please do not hesitate to contact us.
