Thank you for considering to adopt from The Cat Corner, a nonprofit, no-kill shelter that has been saving the lives of stray and homeless cats in Hampton Roads, Virginia for over three decades!

Mama Ireland is a gorgeous tortie who received her name because she had kittens on St. Patrick's Day.  She was an exceptionally loving mother who took really good care of her five stray kittens in someone's thick, backyard hedges.  All of her kittens were adopted from Cat Corner, and now Ireland needs a home; she deserves a good one.  Ireland's foster mom nicknamed her Little Frisky Fancypants!  She is a happy
cat that loves playing with her toy mice; she'll toss one up in the air and then pounce on it like it's trying to get away!  She is very curious and loves to check things out; if she sees a hole somewhere, she will put her paw in and feel around to see what's in there!  Ireland likes other cats; she will stand her ground if another cat tries to bully her, but then quickly forgives them and will immediately play with them.  She had been stray for awhile and was afraid of people at first, but you would never know that now,
as she is a very happy, frisky cat that loves to be talked to, stroked, petted, and brushed.  Ireland is noticeably intelligent and learns quickly.  Come in and
visit her.  Take her home and show her what a great life is in store for this sweet kitty.
