Thank you for considering to adopt from The Cat Corner, a nonprofit, no-kill shelter that has been saving the lives of stray and homeless cats in Hampton Roads, Virginia for over three decades!

A Flower Child
Petunia and her sister Pansey were born in a drainage pipe at a local construction company. Their mother, Pennie, had been a pet so she didn't mind being around people. She was a very young Mom but she was totally devoted to her babies. Even when she didn't have enough food or water, she made sure her babies had something to eat. A customer at the company noticed Pennie and called Cat Corner for help. When we rescued the family, Pennie was so dehydrated that she hardly had any milk for Pansey and Petunia. And we got them just in time. The next day there was a terrible rain storm and Pansey and Petunia probably would not have made it. Pennie could never have gotten both kittens out in time. We're so glad we were able to rescue this wonderful family. Petunia is a very gentle and sweet kitten. She will make a wonderful family pet. Petunia currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, please call Betty, her foster mom, at 757-722-0862.
